Following the Dorchester gig, the band embark upon "The Greatest Hits Tour 2012", starting on 17th February in Kings Lynn, and taking in venues all over the UK right through til June.
The band will be playing many of their 23 top-40 hits and many more, including tracks not played live for many years!

2012 is sure to be another exciting year for Showaddywaddy!

"Summertime Blues '05"

Dave Bartram's first book is now available to pre-order at Hirst Publishing. Due for an Easter 2012 release, pre-orders will receive a dedicated signed copy and your name listed in the back!

"During the 1970s, teddy-boy draped rock & roll band Showaddywaddy had a run of chart success unparalled by any other artist or band.

In 2005 they were still touring, but by then the heady days of teeny-bop hysteria were long gone. Offered a summer run of 33 holiday camp dates, the band took the fast buck, and subsequently entered uncharted territory. From experiencing life in the fast lane, they were about to undergo a breakdown on the hard-shoulder.

Lead Singer Dave Bartram candidly recounts the extraordinary happenings of 10 weeks in the UK's bucket & spade resorts, which strained every emotion to breaking point..."

Top of the Pops - Episodes from 1977 on BBC4 throughout 2012

Throughout 2011, BBC4 broadcast episodes of Top Of The Pops from 1976, every week. Showaddywaddy featured with their hits of that year, T"rocadero" and "Under The Moon of Love".

Into 2012, and the BBC are broadcasting episodes from 1977! So we will begin to see punk and new wave on our screens, but Showaddywaddy were still doing the business in the Top Five, so look out of the band's performances of "When", "You Got What It Takes", and "Dancin' Party" throughout the year!
