On 1st December 2021, it was announced that guitarist Sam Holland joined Showaddywaddy.

Sam hails from Showaddywaddy's home county of Leicestershire, and grew up surrounded by vinyl records spanning all genres and decades. Encouraged by his parents, he took up guitar and drums at an early age, and watched local bands before running back home and spending hours learning what he has seen another guitarist playing. From the age of 15, Sam played in bands on the Leicester circuit, leading him to turn professional at the age of 24. During those 9 years he studied Music Technology at Huddersfield University.

In his first year as a pro musician, he played on a 2 month tour with a Robbie Williams tribute band, and things began to snowball leading to contracts in Europe and the Middle East. 2017-2020 saw Sam working for P&O aboard 5 cruise ships, visiting 67 countries in the process! After 5 years of playing on ferries, cruise ships, and abroad on land, he moved back to Leicester, a move that led him to joining Showaddywaddy.
