Name:   Paul Fixter

Born:   February 1978

From:   Bradford, West Yorkshire but now living in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Job:   IT Helpdesk Coordinator

Marital Status:   Married to Cheryl August 2004. The four songs we had during our wedding ceremony were "Let's Get Married" by The Proclaimers, "From This Moment" by Shania Twain (her choice!), "You Do Something To Me" by Paul Weller and "I'm Yours" by Showaddywaddy.

Why do I like Showaddywaddy?   My Mum bought a Showaddywaddy tape back in 1983 to play in the car, label Pickwick HSC3085. I was 5 at the time. The first track on the tape was 'Pretty Little Angel Eyes'. As soon as I heard it I was hooked and I have listened to their music ever since.

Which other bands do I like:   I like many bands, but particular favourites are The Jam, The Motors and They Might Be Giants.

Football:   Bradford City are my team - had a season ticket for many years. Like watching football on telly whenever it's on.

TV Programmes:   The Sweeney, Juliet Bravo, The Office, Catherine Tate Show, any football match.

Car:   1995 Rover 214SEi.

Food & Drink:   Love spicy food - Mexican and curries. Also love Italian food, cups of tea, bitter and real ale! Go down to my local, the Thatched House at Stanley in Wakefield fairly regularly.

Musical Interests:   I play drums in 'Ten Feet Tall'. We play covers from '60s to the present and also our own material. Why not check out our website at www.ten-feet-tall.co.uk where you can also download MP3s of our music.

Musical Influences:   For drums - Romeo Challenger is my biggest influence. I also admire Rick Buckler of The Jam, Rick Wernham of The Motors and of course Malcolm Allured. Generally - Showaddywaddy and The Jam due to electrifying stage presence.
